Reclassifying Transactions

If the batch was posted to the wrong GL account, subaccount, or branch, you can correct it by reclassifying the batch.

Reclassifying Transactions: General Information

You use the Reclassify Transactions (GL506000) form to reclassify a batch was posted to the wrong GL account, subaccount, or branch. For details on reclassifying GL transactions related to a project, see Transaction Reclassification: General Information.

Reclassifying Transactions: Initiation of the Reclassification Process

You initiate the reclassification process on the Reclassify Transactions (GL506000) form, which you open in one of the following ways:

Reclassifying Transactions: Correction of Reclassified Transactions

To perform editing, on the Journal Transactions (GL301000) form, you select a batch of the Reclassification type with the Balanced or On Hold status, and click Edit on the form toolbar. The Reclassify Transactions (GL506000) form opens, displaying all journal entries included in the batch.
