The elements in this section define the debit and credit accounts and subaccounts to be used in project transactions generated for unbilled remainders that originate from the project transactions that were posted to the general ledger.
If the unbilled remainder originates from a project transaction that was not posted to the general ledger, these settings are ignored; the system instead copies the debit and credit accounts (the specified ones or the empty values) from the original project transaction. An unbilled remainder is the difference between the amounts in the Billed Amount and Amount to Invoice columns of a pro forma invoice line for which Hold Remainder is selected in the Status column on the Time and Material tab of the Pro Forma Invoices (PM307000) form.
The elements in this section define the default source of the expense accounts to be used in project transactions for purchase orders of the Project Drop-Ship type as well as the default rules for generating documents and transactions in these purchase orders. By default, the system inserts the settings specified on this form to the Purchases section on the Projects (PM301000) and Project Templates (PM208000) forms.

The Mailing & Printing tab contains the list of predefined mailings that can be used for emailing the documents related to projects, as well as the report and report format to be used for viewing and printing these documents. The tab also contains a table that lists the recipients of a mailing: You click a mailing in the Mailings table, and you can view and edit the default recipients of the selected mailing in the Recipients table.
The settings specified on this tab are copied by default to a new project template on the Project Templates (PM208000) form or to a new project on the Projects (PM301000) form (if no project template is specified for the project).

You use this section to specify the templates that the system uses to generate notification emails for the projects and project-related documents. For more information, see Approving Records.
Only original approvers assigned through an approval map can receive notifications about pending approvals. If an approver has an assigned delegate and approvals are reassigned to this delegate, the delegate will not receive pending approval notifications.
